Summer season has started. Telangana touched 40°C
Correspondent: Heat is increasing in South India and adjoining states. The maximum temperature has already risen to around 37 to 40°C at several places in the states of Andhra Pradesh, Telangana and Karnataka.In other years, South India starts hot earlier, but from February 2024, the day temperature is increasing at an unusual rate. South India is ravaged by the scorching sun and sweltering heat.According to the Indian Meteorological Department report, heat waves at an unusual rate are likely to occur in Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Maharashtra and Karnataka in 2024. Maximum temperature may exceed 45°C at some places.South India will experience warmer temperatures in 2024 than other years due to the formation of El Nino conditions in the Pacific Ocean.South Indian state of Telangana Interior Andhra Pradesh and Karnataka state has dry weather with possibility of thunderstorms and severe heat wave at times. On the other hand, Tamil Nadu and Kerala states will experience more heat waves and uncomfortably hot summers.
