This year the monsoon has arrived earlier than other years.Monsoon usually arrives in Kerala in the first week of June But this year, the monsoon entered Kerala on 24th May. A low-pressure area has moved across a large part of North India Which extends from northern India to the Bay of Bengal. Due to this,there is a possibility of moderate to heavy rain in various states of North India.Cloudy blust may be seen in several places in the hilly regions of Northern India.Many people have lost their lives in Uttarakhand and Himachal Pradesh so far. If heavy rain continues in the coming days, flood situation may arise especially in Uttarakhand and Himachal Pradesh. Northern states likely to be disrupted due to heavy rainfall.The transportation system may be disrupted and many villages are likely to be flooded.
Floods and landslides occur every year in North India.Landslides were seen in Uttarakhand a few days ago because of cloudburst.Many rivers in North India are flowing above the danger level. The various tourists are being advised to take a break from traveling to Uttarakhand, Himachal Pradesh and other hilly places during this time.We have seen terrible flood situations in Uttarakhand .Many people lose their lives every year due to landslides.Caution is needed to avoid accidents in the coming days.We need to keep an eye on what happens in the coming days.
