Uttar Pradesh and Rajasthan are expected to experience extremely heavy rainfall (≥21 cm) at isolated locations—particularly on 17th and 18th July, respectively. Additional spells of heavy rainfall are likely over Jammu & Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Punjab, Haryana, and East Uttar Pradesh between 17th to 23rd July.

Madhya Pradesh could see extremely heavy rainfall (≥21 cm) at isolated locations on 17th July. The wet conditions are expected to continue till 23rd July, affecting several parts of the central and eastern belt:
