Massive Cloudburst Hit Jammu and Kashmir


The states of North India have been effect by various disasters in the past few years and the same trend continues this year. Jammu and Kashmir has been severely affected by heavy rains for the past three days.Jammu and Kashmir received close to 500 mm of rainfall in the last 24 hours. Many Road have blocked due to heavy rainfall. Flood and Landslides have occurred to the road to Vaishno Devi. There are no connect between National Highway. Many people have died so far due to sudden cloudblust.Many people still missing in J&K. Due to heavy rains, many rivers are overflowing their banks and many villages are flooded. The Government still haven't been able to reach many places to rescue people.
Despite good weather conditions, tourists are advised not to travel to North India for the next one to two weeks due to the current condition. Although heavy rainfall is not expected in North India for the next two to three days, the rainfall is expected to increase again from 1st September .
