The monsoon has already departed from most parts of India and the monsoon axis is still active in several parts of South India.Due to the withdrawal of monsoon, there is no possibility of any rainfall across India in the next 24 to 48 hours. However, light rainfall may be observed in some parts of South India. The trend of cyclones begins after the monsoon season ends. From the end of the monsoon to the beginning of winter, various cyclones form in the Bay of Bengal, which later take the form of cyclones in some cases.
Initial model analysis shows that a low pressure area is likely to form over Andaman and Nicobar Islands and its adjoining areas on October 24-25th. The depression is likely to develop into a deep depression on October 25.However, the depression may initially move east and northeastwards and there is a tendency to move further towards the north-northwest. However, how much stronger the depression will become in the next stage. This depression is expected to develop into a cyclone and which direction it will move will be clearly understood through later analysis.
