North Indian rainfall update

Due to the formation of a fresh western disturbance over north India a non monsoonal precipitation pattern that includes formation of low pressure system over north India and adjoining area . Resulting in thunderstorm and lightning activity to agravate over the northern India. rain is possible over Jammu Kashmir and adjoining area . Coupled with hailstorm activity to interify and worsen the situation in the area . In case of Himachal along with isolated hale storm . In other places like Punjab, Haryana & Chandigarh lightning and isolated moderate thunderstorm activity is possible. Due to the impact of WD the rainfall activity will increase with passage of time. Dust storm formation is likely to occur in Punjab, Chandigarh a Delhi & adjoining area. Chandigarh and Delhi to receive light to isolated moderate lightning and thundustom activity.in case of uttarakhand thunderstorm and lightning activity will occur. Overall impact of WD to persist from 28th April to 29th April.
