West India:
Moderate to heavy rainfall is expected over Konkan & Goa, Madhya Maharashtra, and parts of Gujarat. Isolated locations might witness heavy to very heavy rainfall over the next 7 days, making it crucial for residents to stay alert.
Northwest India:
A major alert is in place for Uttarakhand and Uttar Pradesh, where extremely heavy rainfall (over 20 cm in 24 hours) is likely on 30th June.
Other states such as Himachal Pradesh, Punjab, Haryana, Chandigarh, East Rajasthan, and Jammu & Kashmir are expected to receive heavy to very heavy rainfall between 28th June and 4th July.
Strong thunderstorms, lightning, and gusty winds up to 30-40 kmph will likely affect the entire region during this period.
East & Central India:
Prepare for persistent downpours across Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Jharkhand, Odisha, Bihar, and Vidarbha between 28th June and 4th July.
Heavy rainfall is also expected in Sub-Himalayan West Bengal, Sikkim, and Andaman & Nicobar Islands on select days.
Some areas will also face very heavy rainfall, particularly in West Madhya Pradesh, East MP, and Chhattisgarh from 28th June through 4th July.

South Peninsular India:
The southern states will also face wet conditions, with heavy rainfall likely over Tamil Nadu, Kerala, Mahe, and Coastal Karnataka from 28th June to 4th July.
Very heavy rain is likely over Kerala on 28th June, with strong surface winds (40–50 kmph) forecast across Tamil Nadu, Coastal Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, and Rayalaseema.
