Northwest India
Isolated heavy rainfall is likely over Jammu & Kashmir on 31st July and again on 4th and 6th August. States such as Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand are expected to see similar rainfall between 31st July and 6th August. Meanwhile, Punjab, Haryana, and Chandigarh will receive showers on 31st July, 3rd, and 4th August.
Uttar Pradesh (both eastern and western parts) will likely see rainfall from 2nd to 5th August, with isolated areas of very heavy rainfall in West Rajasthan on 31st July. The Western Himalayan region and nearby plains are expected to experience thunderstorm activity and light/moderate rain frequently over the next 7 days.

South Peninsular India
Tamil Nadu, Kerala, and Mahe are likely to receive isolated heavy rainfall between 2nd and 6th August. Additionally, strong surface winds (ranging between 40-50 kmph) are forecast across South Peninsular India. Several coastal areas including Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Karnataka, Lakshadweep, and Rayalaseema are also expected to witness moderate showers through the week.
West India
