The Meteora Weather Service has issued a nationwide weather update forecasting thunderstorms, lightning, and gusty winds over several parts of India from 3rd to 7th November 2025. Many regions are likely to see a mix of rain, lightning, and cooler conditions as the country transitions into early winter.
đĻ️ East & Central India:
Andaman & Nicobar Islands will experience thunderstorms with gusty winds (30–40 km/h) from 3rd to 5th November, while West Madhya Pradesh is expected to witness thunder and lightning on 3rd and 4th November.
đ§️ West India:
Marathawada, Konkan & Goa, and Madhya Maharashtra may get thunderstorms and lightning between 3rd and 5th November, with isolated short spells of heavy rain, especially along the Konkan coast.
đŦ️ Northwest India:
Strong weather activity is forecast for Jammu-Kashmir, Ladakh, Gilgit-Baltistan, and Muzaffarabad on 4th November, with gusty winds reaching 40–50 km/h. Rajasthan, Himachal Pradesh, and Uttarakhand are also likely to experience thunderstorms and lightning between 3rd and 5th November.
đ§️ South Peninsular India:
Light to moderate rain and thunderstorms are expected at several places across Tamil Nadu, Coastal Andhra Pradesh, Yanam, Rayalaseema, Coastal Karnataka, and North Interior Karnataka between 4th and 7th November, bringing relief to the region with moderate rainfall activity.

A gradual fall in minimum temperatures by 2–5°C is expected over Northwest, Central, and West India after 3–5 days, leading to cooler conditions during the early winter phase.
