A active off shore trough with a Circulation is responsible for it as we predicted. Although both of the systems are feeble & didn't give the so used Monsoon onset over Mumbai but it provided a much needed relief to the regions.
Conditions likely to remain for the next 2-3 days with a decline trend. However rainfall will still occur over the Konkan area due to lingering clouds from the leftover moisture from the off shore trough.

This rainfall surprisingly didn't bring a water logging issue fortunately. However in case of any deteriorate of the weather phenomenon on the future we will keep an close eye over everything & we will keep you updated timely & accurately to help Mumbaikars stay prepared.

Enjoy the relief showers, enjoy the monsoon. Stay safe & Stay tuned.
