The effects of the monsoon have already been seen across India.Heavy rainfall has been observed in various states of India due to the formation of a low pressure areas.Low pressure areas are developing one after another in the Bay of Bengal.On the other hand, good rainfall have also been observed in North India.Due to the deep depression over Madhya Pradesh, the rainfall in the districts of Madhya Pradesh is comparatively higher than other However, West Bengal witnessed record rainfall last night due to a low pressure area over South Bengal.Here the highest rainfall was observed across India.The Highest rainfall was recorded in several places in Madhya Pradesh, Odisha and West Bengal in the last 24 hours.Bhuj-Rudramata has received the most amount of rainfall 157 mm and the second most observed in Balasore 153. Raipur recorded 125mm Rainfall, Bilaspur observed 118 mm Rainfall and Dumdum recorded 109 mm rainfall in past 24hr. On the other hand, Cherrapunji recorded 97 mm, Sagar - 88 mm, Alipur 87 mm,Amritsat 78mm and Jabalpur 77 mm rainfall.The effect of monsoon will continue across India. Because of the South West Monsoon, heavy rains can be observed in some parts and also moderate rains in others parts.
