Multiple regions are expected to witness heavy to very heavy rainfall, thunderstorms, lightning, and gusty winds, potentially impacting transportation, agriculture, and daily life.

Northwest India

• Heavy rainfall is expected over Jammu-Kashmir-Ladakh-Gilgit-Baltistan-Muzaffarabad on 10th & 16th August, Himachal Pradesh on 10th, 15th & 16th, Punjab on 10th, 11th, 14th & 15th, and Haryana, Chandigarh & Delhi on 10th, 11th & 13th–15th.

• West Uttar Pradesh will see rain on 10th & 16th, East Uttar Pradesh on 12th & 15th, and East Rajasthan on 15th & 16th.

• Extremely heavy rainfall is likely over Uttarakhand on 13th August.

• Very heavy rainfall is forecast for Jammu & Kashmir during 13th–15th, Himachal Pradesh during 11th–14th, and Uttarakhand on 10th–12th & 14th–16th. West Uttar Pradesh may see intense showers on 13th & 15th, and East Uttar Pradesh on 13th & 14th.

Northeast India

• Widespread light to moderate rainfall is expected with heavy rainfall over Arunachal Pradesh on 10th, 11th & 13th; Assam & Meghalaya during 10th–14th; and Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram & Tripura on 10th, 13th & 14th.

• Very heavy rainfall is likely over Arunachal Pradesh on 12th and over Assam & Meghalaya on 12th & 13th.

South Peninsular India

• Heavy rainfall is expected over Tamil Nadu & Rayalaseema on 10th; North Interior Karnataka during 14th–16th; South Interior Karnataka on 15th & 16th; Coastal Andhra Pradesh & Yanam on 10th, 12th, 13th & 16th; and Telangana during 10th–12th August.

• Very heavy rainfall is forecast for Coastal Andhra Pradesh & Yanam on 14th & 15th and Telangana during 13th–16th August.

• Strong surface winds of 40–50 km/h are expected over the southern peninsula in the next two days.

East & Central India

• Heavy rainfall will impact West Madhya Pradesh on 10th, 14th & 16th, East Madhya Pradesh during 10th–16th, Vidarbha on 12th, 15th & 16th, and Chhattisgarh on 12th.

• Very heavy rainfall is expected over West Madhya Pradesh on 15th, Vidarbha on 13th & 14th, Chhattisgarh on 13th–16th, Sub-Himalayan West Bengal & Sikkim on 11th & 12th, and Odisha on 12th & 14th.

• Other affected regions include Andaman & Nicobar Islands (11th), Bihar (10th–13th), and Odisha (15th & 16th).

• Heavy rainfall is likely over Madhya Maharashtra during 14th–16th and Konkan & Goa from 12th–16th August.

• Very heavy rainfall is forecast for the Gujarat region on 10th August.
